Embracing My Allergies: An Ekphrastic Poem

An ekphrastic poem is a response to a visual work of art.

Here is my take on Weston Wei’s illustration Sleeping with My Allergy. This is a collaboration between the University of Plymouth, the Association of Illustrators World Illustration Awards 2023, The Directory of Illustration and UNESCO Creative Cities Network. This piece was also later published in SEA Lit Circle’s Pandan Weekly issue 2, January-June 2025 (SEA Lit Circle is a community of writers and readers from Southeast Asia and the diaspora).
